The Ludonova publishing house was founded in 2011 in response to the growing new trend of alternative entertainment brought about by new generation board games, also known as modern board games or Eurogames.
The initial idea from which this project was born was to contribute and be part of the propagation of this new style of entertainment, making the best games on the market available to Spanish fans at their usual stores and in Spanish. Over time, Ludonova's editorial line has grown and also incorporated its own games that have been exported to other markets all over the world.
The common denominator of all these games is their high quality, thanks to their playability, quality production of components and illustrations and their variety of themes and mechanics, thus forming a broad catalogue ranging from games for all the family to those who consider themselves more expert.
In 2011 we published the Spanish edition of Fortuna by Stefan Stadler and Michael Rieneck, starting our adventure.
Only one year after our creation we won the 2012 Game of the Year Award with Santiago de Cuba by Michael Rieneck.
In 2015 we published our first own game, which turned out to be a success after being translated and published in many countries.
